This Sasha doll is beautiful....aside from Jade she's one of the best in the Genie line. The hair is the longest I've seen and it's wavey with braids and a flower. I got this for my 3 year old for Christmas. All he wanted was an R/C hovercraft for Christmas, which he saw on TV but was really not appropriate for a 3 year old. I was worried whether this would hover well enough to fulfill his expectations, but he loves it! It hovers great on our hardwood and laminate floors. He and his brother and sister (2 and 5) have a great time gliding it to each other. The phrases and design are really cute too.

We purchased this toy for our 3 yr old. The Ups : Looks exactly like superwhy, sturdy, the phrases and songs are nice.

The downs: We just couldnt get the hover function to work, we tried on floors, tables, very frustrating. It doesnt even have wheels so that a child could just push it if the toy doesnt work.

Overall disappointing. Although we do love superwhy!!

My daughter was excited to have this as one of her Christmas gifts. Of course, she is just getting to trying to have her American Idol moment tonight. Her portable radio had no mic jack. The radio in her room had the same problem. My bedroom saw more of the same. I was convinced that a mic jack would save the day. The computer's jack did not work but the doll will light up when you place the mic plug in any headphone jack (food for thought) I finally, yes finally remembered the yet to be updated sound system in the dining room. We were in business. Unfortunately, the darn doll just won't work. The jack was not the problem. I am now faced with finding a reason why this doll is a bust. No support from Bratz and now I learn that others have the same issue.

The doll is cute. It will not work as described, however. Save your money and save your little girl a few tears.

We tested two of these toys, but were not able to get any one of them to work on our existing stereos (no mic input), or by plugging into the computer's MIC input.

As one other reviewer wrote, mic input is probably needed on your stereo to make this work, but that's a guess.

The package states "Mic plugs into your own speakers", I am yet to find a speaker into which you can plug a minijack, normally wires come out of speakers with plugs to be plugged into AV devices. Makes you wonder what they were thinking when they created this product.

The included instructions were useless, and no product support available for this product on the company's support page, in fact this product is not even listed.

Unfortunately, we've never been able to get this microphone to work. Your stereo component must have a "mic in" plug. We have 3 stereos in the house, and none of them have this. (Try explaining this to a 5 year old who's having a fit to play with it!)

I also tried plugging it into the computer, and that didn't work either. None of our other electronics in the house seem to have this plug (and we're a tech-y family).

Oh, and the dolls feet fell off immediately and just won't stay on!

So check your stereo before you purchase!

This guitar game did not hold my girls attention for very long, they are 3 and 8. It is made well and it is cute, but they got bored with it because there is just a plastic bar to push to make it play. For the 3 year old, the game was too difficult, and for the 8 year old it was boring. It doesn't teach them how a guitar works because there are no strings. They are using the broken guitar with strings instead of this one. I would not buy this again.

I bought this for my daughter when I bought Guitar Hero for my son. This toy was more difficult to use than Guitar Hero. Even my son couldn't use the Bratz guitar very well. The graphics are awful and the sound is terrible. Not worth the money.

Just beware of the missing yellow button. I got this for my daughter and she was so excited when she saw that it works just like "guitar hero", on a smaller scale of course. But as she was opening it noticed that the third of three buttons was missing. You can't get the points for that button at all if its missing. Long story short, many were made this way and I am having a hard time finding one that has all three. Right now I've had to return the product to MGA, where they made me pay for shipping, to try to get a good one back. We'll see! MGA, in my opinion has not been too helpful.

I bought this during Amazon's Christmas sales. This is a plug and play game, not an actual guitar. it makes no music whatsoever. When you connect it to the TV, you get a choice of 7 songs to play along with - there are 3 buttons, you don't hear any music when you press the buttons, you just see a miss or good message next to the note! This is the worst piece of junk I"ve bought yet! what a disappointment!

They also have Bratz Kidz Diamondz Cloe & Kidz Diamondz Yasmin Exclusives at Target. The Kidz Diamondz cost $24.99.The Kidz have the same outfits on as the traditional sized Diamondz Bratz. Hope this helps.

My daughter is receiving this for Christmas from a friend of mine. I normally like the bratz dolls, but they do dress a bit on the slutty side and for a 4 year old that is just inappropriate. I am only encouraging the ones that do something active, like race cars, go skiing, and snowboarding. I think she will love this doll, it will be one of her first ones from the actually doll line. She has the baby bratz, but those dress very skimpy too. She actually took regular doll clothes that were appropriate and redressed her baby bratz without my prompting. I never thought I would buy bratz, but she really likes them and if they're not too slutty, I don't see the harm in it. Plus, buying the sporty ones can encourage her to think she's not just a pretty face and can do more with her life than sit and look pretty.

My daughter likes the doll & drawing on her with the make-up markers. (She's also enjoying drawing on herself.) The pump however does absolutely nothing. The instructions & execution are simple so I'm sure it's not my error.

Unfortunately without the pump you can't do much else. The stencils (for giving yourself tattoos) & the face-masks (for air-brushing make-up onto Sasha) are useless.

Luckily, at 4 years old she doesn't grasp that there are things she's supposed to be able to do, but can't.

My daughter got this as a gift. It's difficult to put the pens in the airbrush "gun" and when you do get them in, not much happens. It worked only once, we tried all the included pens and could not get any color to come out of the airbrush gun. My daughter loves Bratz and styling hair. We were a little disappointed the with airbrush. It was difficult for her to insert the color tubes in the airbrush. When we tried to color her hair and face it was a big mess(watch out carpet)! After a few pumps of color it seemed the very fasinating airbrush no longer wanted to work. After we patiently made the dolls hair and face the color easily wiped off. At least she likes the doll.

The toy itself would have been great (I ordered it for my 10 year old daughter for Xmas) However, the seller sent me this product in a ripped open box that had been taped back together with scotch tape. The receipt was written on a torn piece of paper and it was very dirty.

When I ordered the product online there was no indication of it ever being used. Had I known I would not have paid that amount for it.

But besides being poorly shipped by the seller and dirty etc... the toy itself was great. My daughter collects Bratz dolls and she was very happy to recieve it.

Every body says that Phoebe is the sweet twiin why is that? Phoebe in my opinion is just sassy as her sis! I don't have them but I saw them on Toys 'R' Us's site for only $0.14!!! I geuss that is for them being two,goin' on three years!! I also think that these were the most detailed twiins. Oh,about Foxxi Roxxi she's not bad. This toy was a disappointment for my 6yo. Although the picture here online doesn't show or mention it, another skater doll can go on the rink as well, but, she doesn't move and cannot be controlled. With or without the music, the machine itself is LOUD, almost sounding like a blender. I guess the disappointment could've been much worse; at least she'll play with it for a while, but the novelty normally wears off after 5 minutes of play. I'm glad I didn't waste my own money purchasing this one...

I received this doll about two years ago as a Christmas gift from my dad. I've been a fan of Bratz dolls since the year they came out, although I haven't bought any in the past few years because MGA is releasing so many different kinds that I decided it wasn't worth the trouble to try to keep up with them. I'm also a fan of Japanese culture and when I saw the Tokyo-a-Go-Go series in a store one day I asked my dad if I could have one of them. Of course, at that time I didn't know about the collector's edition May Lin, so I was pleasantly surprised on Christmas morning to find out that my dad had done better than I expected and gotten me this doll. Yeah, I was probably a little too old for dolls back then but it was the best thing that I received for Christmas that year.

This is in a few other reveiws already, but it's true that May Lin is not a Japanese name. If I'm not mistaken, May Lin and any other variants of the name (Mei Lin, etc...) are Chinese. I'm not surprised that MGA got this wrong, it's common for people to stereotype Asian names and assume that they're all the same. Plus, the doll is intended for little girls who probably don't care what country the name originated from so I guess MGA decided there was no reason to bother checking it out.

The doll itself came in a beautiful box shaped like a shrine. I had a very difficult time deciding whether or not I wanted to leave her in the box or take her out. It just seemed like such a pity to ruin such a lovely box. I eventually decided to take it out and I still have the box tucked away somewhere safe. May Lin wears a gorgeous kimono and her hair is beautiful. Her accessories include a fan, a parasol, a musical instrument, a bag, hair clips, and a mirror. She also comes with a display stand.

I totally recommend this doll to anyone who is a fan of the Bratz series. She is absolutely gorgeous and (poor choice of name aside) will add a bit of culture to your collection. Out of all the ten-trillion different types of Bratz out there, this one is definitely my favorite.

I have reviewed before my name is tsuruko and i am japanese. I speak japanese so I KNOW WHAT I TALKING ABOUT. Sorry my english is bad for reading. I am 13 i live in america. my review was called 'it does matter if you know what you're talking about!'.

I have learned from a friend here that there are 2 dolls more for the group. they wear the kimonos as well.

However, I reviewed here and i said that Mai Lin, Mei Lin or May Lin IS NOT JAPANESE as we have not L's of the kana alphabets. see other review to see why this is so. >:(

My friend she says the other dolls called 'Tiana' and 'Kumi'

TIANA IS NOT JAPANESE! There is not a 'ti' character in our alphabet! the 't' section of the kana (japanese alphabets) goes ta, to, te, tsu (as for 'tsunami' that you may know. this is instead of 'tu') and then 'chi'! No 'ti'! IT DOES NOT EXSIST!

I have chinese and japanese friend. she tell me how No Li (for myscene No Lee - american phonetic equavilant in your alphabet) is true chinese. it may have other spelling maybe Nyo Li (?) or Nou Li so i am not sure if you are please write review and say. Mattel see that she get a proper name!

however, Kumi is Japanese. it is our word for 'group'and made from our kana characters 'ku' and 'mi' so it is true. she has a true name! I am happy! :)

many people here write that 'oh, it do not matter! Japanese, chinese are all same!' but THAT IS VERY IGNORANT! IT DOES MATTER! Children should care about other cultures and able to separate them to know how they are different.

japan and china are VERY DIFFERENT CULTURES, alot more than you think. they have very little to know of each other, however a few things are same for them like kanji alphabet. but that very hard. i dont explain here now.

children being able to understand cultures is very more inportant than a silly doll. make sure they knew!

I sorry my english is bad reading i learnt it for since i was 8 and i come to america. i learnt a small english at school in japan so i am happy.

"Great doll - fun and different" 2009-12-27

The Juku Couture dolls are quite different than the standard barbie dolls - they are a bit shorter (barely comes up to a barbie's chest) and therefore don't fit into all the barbie clothes out there. But they do fit into Bratz or TinkerBell fashion doll sized clothes and that gives a lot of options. But each Juku couture doll comes with so many little pieces of clothing that it really is easy to mix and match and get all kinds of interesting looks.

Jun is a bit unique from the other Juku dolls - her ringlets are stiff and not really brushable. But she also has the most interesting and exotic outfits. And the hair accessories that come with all the dolls seem to work much better with her stiffer hair.

The really neat thing about the Juku dolls is the amazing posability of them. They can do so many poses and stand on their own just fine. I've put Jun into head stands, had her sitting on various objects, even hanging like a monkey from a shelf - just for fun. For that reason, I give her much higher marks than most dolls.

I really like that she looks like a teenager - the clothes fit the personality well. I've had a chance to buy all the dolls and all the extra outfits and enjoy putting the different variations on her. June is my favorite of the line since her looks are so very similar to the very expensive high-end Japanese dolls that cost $200+.

There's a new version of this doll in Target for their second year and the improvements made are very good. I'd recommend getting the newer version of this doll over the premier edition for that reason. The newer dolls aren't as 'glassy eyed' and their expressions not as unrealistic.

The free shipping from Amazon always seemed fast to me, until I had to wait for my darling Jun to arrive! :) Overall, I'm very pleased with her. She seems sturdy, her clothing and accessories are of average quality. She's about the same size as the 21 cm Obitsu or Volks dolls. They're all sharing clothes right now at my house. Her skin tone is a little odd--I'm guessing they're trying to reproduce a Korean skintone, since she's supposed to be from South Korea. My son is Korean, so I can say it's similar, but no where near as beautiful as the real thing. Her eyes are violet. Her hair is crunchy and over sprayed. She can't sit quite right, due to hips which don't rotate naturally. But with her cute rainboots, she can stand alone without a stand. She's cool enough for this adult collector and yet sturdy enough for ages 6 and up to play with.

My first Rock Angelz dolls were Yasmin, Sasha, and Jade. I kept telling myself I was gonna save up for Cloe and Roxxi, but it never happened.

Then, later, I finally got the Cloe and the Roxxi doll.

Anyway, here's what she comes with:

A small CD with two songs: "So Good" and "Stand Out". The Song "Stand Out" gives the message: Be yourself. Don't be what everybody else wants you to.

A concert stage

A microphone

Fake make-up

At first it's a little hard to get her boots onto the holes on the stage, but when you finally get them in, it's worth the long hours of play.

And yes, you CAN put the other dolls beside her on the stage, or below. So yes, it DOES work with the other dolls.

Sara, I have all the Rock Angelz dolls, and Roxxi comes with Rock Out (Stand Out Alternate Version). I personally love Roxxi, and she is really cool. And please, people, stop "bashing" Sara, Chelsea(Hannah), LPG3LNC, Lisa, and everybody. They're really nice people, and I hate to see them being called names.

the bratz rock angelz concert stage is a pretty good toy, i mean it doesn't fall apart and it doesn't have too many pieces, but i would just get the band instrumentz because it has, well, more instruments! it's also way less money, i mean $20 versus $50.
